New Haven is heading to Quassy Amusement Park for a Juneteenth celebration filled with family fun, community pride and summer energy.

Alder Angel “Yummy” Hubbard is hosting New Haven Takes Over Quassy Amusement Park on Friday, June 19, 2026, bringing the community together for a day at one of Connecticut’s favorite amusement destinations in Middlebury.

Tickets are $20 and include admission to the amusement park, water park access, transportation and one hour of unlimited food.

The event is designed as a celebration of freedom, heritage and community, giving families and friends a chance to enjoy rides, water attractions, food and fellowship while honoring the spirit of Juneteenth.
