Atlanta, GA — Chit Chat Atlanta Tours is bringing a new food and culture experience to Atlanta’s Southside.
Curated by Carla Morrison, the Southside Remix Restaurant Tour Experience will debut Saturday, May 30, 2026, at noon, offering guests a guided tour through some of the area’s most vibrant communities and standout Black-owned restaurants.
The tour will travel through South Fulton’s Red Oak District, College Park’s Main Street and East Point’s Camp Creek area, giving attendees a taste of the food, culture, history and community that continue to shape Atlanta’s Southside.
Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr. is officially welcoming the launch of the tour, which organizers say is designed to celebrate the economic power, creativity and cultural influence of Black-owned businesses in the region.
The featured restaurant stops include The Real Milk & Honey, Zubi’s Taco Kitchen, The Standard Kitchen by GH, Gocha’s Tapas Bar, Grown & Sexy Restaurant and Sasha Sweets.
More than a traditional food tour, the Southside Remix experience is being promoted as a cultural journey. Guests will sample food from some of the area’s popular restaurants while also learning more about the neighborhoods, entrepreneurs and stories behind them.
“With this tour, we’re intentionally spotlighting the culture, the flavor, and the economic power of Black-owned businesses on the Southside,” said Carla Morrison, founder of Chit Chat Atlanta Tours.
The experience is designed for food lovers, cultural explorers, tourists and local residents looking for something fresh, meaningful and community-centered.
From soulful dishes to sweet treats, the Southside Remix Restaurant Tour Experience aims to showcase the hidden gems and local favorites that make Atlanta’s Southside a destination of its own.
Tickets are available now, and space is limited.
